KING North Carolina Sampson County This Deed made this 30th day of Decr. 1886 by J. J. Huggins and wife Elizabeth A. Huggins of Sampson County and State of North Carolina to Henry S. King and Joseph B. King of said County and State, Witnesseth That said J. J. Huggins and Elizabeth A. Huggins his wife in consideration of On Thousand Dollars to them paid by the said Henry S. King and Joseph B. King, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain sell and convey to said Henry S. King and Joseph B. King and their heirs a certain piece of land in said County adjoining the lands of Henry S. King Calvin Boyette H. J. Craddock and others the same being the land bequeathed by Richard Jordan decd. to Mary S. Jordan and containing Ninety Six acres (96) more or less To Have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land...hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written. Witness } James J. J. Huggins and Elizabeth A. Huggins the grantees named in the foregoing deed who acknowledged the due execution thereof by them as their act and deed and therefore the said Elizabeth A. Huggins being by me privately examined separate and apart from her said husband touching her voluntary execution of the same doth state that she signed the same freely and voluntarily without fear or compulsion of her said husband or any other person and that she doth still voluntarily assent thereto.
