Indenture made November 9, 1859 between Henry D Lewis and Nancy his wife of 
the one part and Henry Stevens of the other part witness whereas Henry 
Stevens minor dec'd heir of Whitley Stevens dec'd was lawfully seized of a 
certain tract of land in Sampson on the waters of Snells Swamp adjoining the 
lands of Henry Stevens, J L Clifton, Michael J Bell and fully known as Lot 
No 83 appropriated to Mrs Nancy Lewis sister of the dec'd Henry Stevens 
minor by reference to the report of the division of said land Henry Stevens 
dec'd received supposed to be 17 acres the report made out the land was 
adjacent to Snell Swamp and J J Bells corner.
