Indenture made October 12, 1863 between James H Lewis of the one part and 
John A Oates and Charles P Johnston of the other part all of Sampson, for 
$2046.66 land in Sampson in the town of Clinton known as the Isaac Roberts 
Lot and store adjacent to main street in front of the courthouse, Thomas M 
Lees line, Isaac Boykins lot, James M Holmes store containing 3/4 of an 
acre.
