Indenture made Nov'r 5, 1851 between James Oates and James M Lewis both of 
Sampson, for $750 land in Sampson on the east side of Calf Marsh Branch 
adjacent to the run of the west prong of the Calf Marsh Branch containing 
136 1/4 acres.
Second tract on the west prong of Calf Marsh Branch containing 136 1/4 
acres.
Witnesses: Allmond A McKay and W J Hobbs
