Between NICHOLAS SESSUMS of Sampson County and in the state of North Carolina of the one part and SAMUEL FAIRCLOTH of the same county and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said NICHOLAS SESSUMS for and in consideration of the sum of ninety (90) pounds special money to him in hand already paid and satisfied hath given granted alliend bargain sold and confirmed by these present and also duly give grant bargan sell and alien enfeffer and confirm to the said SAMEUL FAIRCLOTH his heirs and assign forever. One certain tract or parcel of land containing two hundred acres (200) of land it lying an being in Sampson County on the north side of the Caw Branch beginning at apine and white oak the edge of the Caw Branch running north 210 poles to apaplis in the Cabben Branch thence west 152 poles to a stake thence south 192 poles to a stake thence to the beginning with all and singular the rights hereditaments and appertainced whatsoever to the said lands in any ___ thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the said tract of land or parcel of land with all ___ and dependencys until the said SAMUEL FAIRCLOTH his heirs and assigns forever in as full clear perfect manner to all intents and purposes as the said NICHOLAS SESSUMS ever did might or could have held the same before the making here of cleared and freed from all widows dowers jointure or thirds and all manner of such incumbrances whatsoever and this deed the said NICHOLAS SESSUMS hereby finds and obliges himself his heirs executors and adminstrators and assigns forever to defend from me and my heirs to be good valued and suffiecient unto the said SAMUEL FAIRCLOTH his heirs and assigns against his heirs and assigns an against all manner such whatsoever or any of them claiming by him from or under or any of them. In Witness whenceth the said NICHOLAS SESSUMS have hereunto set his hand an affix his seal this day an year first above written.
