Indenture made August 11, 1828 between David Stevens and wife Sally 
(daughter of Wm King Junr dec'd) of Johnston County, NC of the one part and 
James Lewis of Sampson, for $372 land in Sampson:
First piece adjacent to Youngs Swamp, mouth of Calf Marsh containing 46 
acres
Second piece of piney land adjacent to Jesse Oates corner, Barfields line, 
Calf Marsh Branch containing 47 acres
Witnesses: Jesse Oates and William Stevens
Registered: Feb'y 12, 1879
