By and between WILLIAM Vann of the County of New Hanover, MARY VANN, CHARLOTTE VANN & CHARITY VANN of the County of Sampson on one part and THOMAS VANN of the County of Sampson on the other part Witnesseth That the said WILLIAM VANN, MARY VANN, CHARLOTTE VANN and CHARITY VANN for and in consideration of the Sum of two hundred dollars to them paid by Said THOMAS VANN whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and Sold unto THOMAS VANN all the right Title interest and claim That They sd. WILLIAM MARY CHARLOTTE & CHARITY VANN has or owns to the piece of Land hereafter described being a part of the Lands owned by the HENRY VANN dec'd and by the death of whom descended to Said WILLIAM & which or parcel of Land Lies on the west Side and Joining the Six Runs and Joins the lands of the said THOMAS VANN SAMUEL JOHNSON & the other lands of HENRY VANN, dec'd Beginning at a white oak on the bank of the Six Runs thence along a line of marked trees to a Maple on the Mirey branch HUDSONS corner - Thence up said Branch to the upper part of the Pocason Joining EZEKIEL HAWES line thence down Said pocason to a Red Oak thence along a line of marked trees nearby Land East to a Persimmon tree near the Rye fields Thence nearby The Same Course to a pine on the Bank of the Six runs thence down The Six runs to the Beginning containing by estimation one Hundred & thirty five acres be the Same more or less which said land as above described, Said WILLIAM VANN, MARY VANN, CHARLOTTE VANN and CHARITY VANN doth by these presents make over convey and confirm unto Said THOMAS VANN his Heirs and assigns forever.
