The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained & Sold unto said THOMAS VANN a tract of land in said county on the east side of the Six runs adjoining the land of John JOHNSON, SR. John H. SPEARMAN John JOHNSON, JR. bounded as followeth, to wit, Beginning at a poplar, in Cock branch running thence about So. 40 ?. 12 poles thence So. mt. 18 poles thence So. 25 mt. 28 poles thence 55 ? 56 poles to a pine in the head of Said Branch. JOHN SPEARMAN corner thence with his line about S. 85 Ch. 86 poles to a Stake in SPEARMANS line thence No. 29 poles to a pine in the head of the medall branch thence said branch about No.15 mt 76 poles thence north 30 mt 50 poles thence No 45 mt 39 poles to a blackgum on the run of said branch above the ford thence So 55 mt 19 poles to black Jack on John Johnsons line thence his line to beginning which land as above described Said DANIEL VANN doth by these n Sic. alien convey & confirm unto Said THOMAS VANN his heirs & assigins forever in fee Simple and Said DANIEL VANN doth hereby covenant & agree to & with Said THOMAS VANN to warrant the title of Said land with the appurtenances thereto belonging or pertaining against all lawful claims In testimony whereof Said Sic.
