Carolina on one part - and JOHN SPEARMAN, SAMUEL SPEARMAN, WILLIAM SPEARMAN & EDWARD SAMUEL SPEARMAN , minor heirs of EDWARD SPEARMAN dec'd late of Sd. County on the other part. Witnesseth that, whereas Sd. THOMAS VANN before the death of JOHN ROBINSON and EDWARD SPEARMAN, Sold to JOHN ROBINSON a tract of land containing one hundred acres, and gave a deed for the Same. Which Sd tract was sold by JOHN ROBINSON to Sd. EDWARD SPEARMAN. The deed for which to JOHN ROBINSON has been lost - and Sd. VANN in consideration of the payment - to him by the Sd. JOHN ROBINSON is willing to confirm the title of Sd. land to the heirs of Sd. EDWARD SPEARMAN. Therefore Sd. THOMAS VANN doth by these presents make over Convey & Confirm unto JOHN ROBISON & other heirs, male, of Sd. EDWARD SPEARMAN dec'd . The aforesaid tract of land, beginning at a water oak on the bank of the Six Runs opposite a fish pond Running thence S. 60.6.10 poles to green oak {? Evergreen) The edge of the fish Pond Thence up the pond . S. 69.6.12. poles. Thence W 70. E.9. Poles to a maple in the edge of a pocason Thence W 70.E.60 poles to a white Oak on the bank of the pond thence N.45E.14 poles to a pine and the edge of the hill, near a Small branch, thence So. 57 E.77. to a water oak in the Juniper Branch Thence down the Juniper Branch as it meanders to the Six Runs and be the Same more, or less, together with the appurtenances to Sd. land belonging on and in anywise appertaining: to have & to hold to them, Sd. JOHN SPEARMAN, SAMUEL SPEARMAN, WILLIAM SPEARMAN & EDWARD SAMUEL SPEARMAN and their heirs & assigns forever fee Simple, and Sd. THOMAS doth hereby agree & promise to warrant - the title of Sd. land against the lawfull claims of his heirs, Executors, admins or assigns to said JOHN SPEARMAN & others above mentioned.
