Sampson County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions - NC Archives
November Term 1835
At a court held by the justices of Sampson County on the 3rd Monday in November 
1835 at the town of Clinton. It is ordered to be certified that it appears to 
the court by satisfactory evidence that Seth Starling who was a soldier in the 
North Carolina Line in the Revolutionary War died on or about the 20th day of 
April 1835 and that Comfort Starling is widow of said Seth Starling.
