Andrew Goodrich Thornton, 82, of Suttontown, died today, May 18, 1979 in the 
home, on Marsh-Kornegay Rd. Faison, NC. Born on November 22, 1897 in Eastern 
North Carolina, He married Tempie Boyette, in Sampson County. He leaves behind 
7 children, and many grandchildren.
Andrew G. Thornton was laid to rest in the family cemetery at the home of his 
son, David Leon Thornton, on Marsh-Kornegay Rd, Faison, NC in the Suttontown 
Community.
