King State of North Carolina Cumberland County June Term 1813 Then was the execution of this deed acknowledged by Nathan King and ordered to be recorded from the minutes. Robinson Mumford, C. C. # Note; Henery King is often listed as Henry King and was most likely named after the brother of Michael King, Dec'd the testator of the above mentioned will dated 27 November 1783. Henry King, brother of said Michael King, Dec'd of Cumberland County (NC), died in Duplin County, NC in November of 1761. Both Nathan King and Henery (Henry) King were sons of Michael King, Dec'd of Cumberland County (NC) testator of said will date 27 November 1783. The witnesses of the above deed; Thomas D. King, was the son of William King, Senr. of Sampson County, NC who was a son of Michael King, of Cumberland County, deceased, the testator of the will dated 27 November 1783, and the other witness, Anne King, was probably Barbara Ann (Moore) King, wife of Henery (Henry) King of Cumberland County, NC. The Charles King mentioned in the above deed was the son of Michael King of Cumberland County, NC who was the testator of the will dated 27 November 1783 and he was a younger brother of Henery King of Cumberland County, and Nathan King of Cumberland County. Charles King removed to Georgia in the very early 1800's. (RMK).
