Marriage License of Thomas Blake to Ann Cox

County of Duplin    }

To any Authorized minister for want of such to any lawful Magistrate Whereas 
Thomas Blake of the County of Duplin and Parish of Saint Gabriel has a mind to 
intermarry with Ann Cox of the said County and Parish aforesaid by and with the 
consent of her parents previously had and obtained and hath given sufficient 
security according to an Act of Assembly in that case made and provided that 
there is no impediment to obstruct the said marriage.

These are therefore to authorize you or any of you to join together in matrimony 
the said Thomas Blake and Ann Cox (illegible) not being asked.

This is to certify that the within couple hath been lawfully married according 
to law and the Cannons of the Church of England by me this third day of November 
one thousand seven hundred and sixty six (1766) by me Joseph Willson J.P.
