Sampson County, NC - Edbert Futrell to Jettie Pearl Spivey, 1916 ~~~~~~~~~~ Futrell-Spivey Mr. Edbert A. Futrell, son of Rev. D.A. Futrell, of Stantonsburg, NC and Miss Jettie Pearl Spivey, of this city, were married last night at 7 o'clock at the parsonage of the Bladen Street Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. J.P. Pate was the officiating minister. Only the immediate relatives and a few friends of the contracting parties were present. The bride wore a blue silk dress. Mr. and Mrs. Futrell will reside in this city. The bridegoom is an employee of the Atlantic Coast Line.
