Will of William Blackman

All my Negroes be kept upon my plantation under the direction and management 
of Nicholson Lewis who I have employed for the term of five years and retain 
the said Lewis a greater length of time if conceived necessary in the better 
management of my estate
Executors shall each and every year sell and dispose of the net proceeds of my 
farms so as if possiblo to make the payments as they become due from me to the 
agent of Ann Cutler for the lands lately purchased of the said agent. But 
should they not be able to make the first payment on said land then they 
should draw from one or more of the banks in this state as much money as will 
be necessary to meet the said first payment trusting confidently as I do that 
the subsequent payments can be easily made as directed
When the first one of my children (who shall live so long) shall arrive at the 
age of twenty one years that there shall be made an equal division of all my 
estate both real and personal among my children then living (not named)
I appoint my trusty friends John Fellers and William Ashford executors
Witnesses: Whitley Stevens and A Macalester
