Holley (his x mark) Hudson Signed sealed published and declared by the said Holley Hudson the testator as his last will and testament in the presents of us who were present at the time of signing and sealing there of Crawford Wooten and Darean (her x mark) Hudson State of North Carolina Sampson County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions May Term 1849 Then was the last will and testament of Holley Hudson dec'd produced in open court when Crawford Wooten one of the subscribing witnesses thereto proved that the same was duly executed published and declared by Holley Hudson as his last will and testament according to law wherewith in open court Joel Hudson was duly qualified as executor thereto & it was ordered that letters testamentary issue. November Term 1849 On motion ordered by the court that Joel Hudson executor of Holly Hudson dec'd have leave to sell the parishable property of his testator which hath come into his hands as executor.
