Sampson County, North Carolina Will Book, Vol. A1, 1782-1964 Will of Aaron Peterson, 1823 Will of AARON PETERSON In the name of God Amen September the 8th 1823 I AARON PETERSON of the County of Sampson & State of North Carolina being sick & weak but of Sound Mind & memory do make & ordain This my last will & testament that is to say I give & recommend my soul to almighty God in hope of his mercy & my body to be buried in a descent manner & as to my worldly estate I give them as follows 1st I give & bequeath unto LABAN, GABRIEL, PATRICK PETERSON & The Heirs of NATHAN PETERSON deceased four hundred acres of land to be divided into four equal Shares. 2nd - I also give & bequeath unto ALLEN, ANNA & ENOCH PETERSON one dollar & CHARITY JOHNSON one Dollar & the first Pickings of the Geese Item & also I give & bequeath unto my beloved Wife SARAH one third of all my perishable property of every description & the other two thirds of said perishable unto ADONIRAM PETERSON. & Last I appoint my friend ANGUS JOHNSON & my son CHARLES PETERSON Executors of this my last will & Testament & revoke all former all former wills.
