I Blake Sessums of the county of Sampson and State of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory (blessed be to God) do this the 17th day of October in the year of our Lord 1833 make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say, First, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Rachel Sessums Four cows and calves and the use of the whole of the stock during her lifteime or widowhood and one home and one m-- during her lifetime or widowhood and three feather beds and furnishings during life time and widowhood and all the household and kitchen furniture during her lifetime or widowhood, ten head of sheep and the use of teh whole stock during her lifetime or widowhood, twenty head of hogs and the use of the whole of the stock during her lifteime or widowhood and so all the plantation working tools during her lifetime or widowhood, what is left, after her lifetime or widowhood to be equally divided amongst the heirs. Three hundred acres of land including the plantantion and the mill during her lifetime and widowhood. I give and bequeath unto my daughter, Polly Hannah Sessums on bed and furniture, one cow or heifer, Four heads of sheep, one sow and one dry hog. I give and bequeath unto my beloved Son Irvin Sessums all of the land on the South side of the run of the Beaverdam Swamp excepting Fifty acres joining Joseph Parker's line, one bed and furniture one cow or one heifer, four heads of sheep, one sow and one dry hog, one shotgun. I give and bequeath unto my beloved son John Nelson Sessums One hundred acres of land begining on the Beaverdam joining Culbreath's lands, one bed and furniture, one cow or heifer, Four head of sheep, one sow and one dry hog, one rifle gun iron mounted. I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Elizabeth Ann Sessums, one bed and furniture, one cow or heifer, four head of sheep, one sow and one dry hog. I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Solomon Sessums One hundred acres of land being on the east side of the GreatSwamp, one bed and furniture, one cow or heifer, four heads of sheep, one sow and one dry hog, one rifle gun brass mounted. I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Elsebeth , one bed and furniture, one cow or heifer, four heads of sheep, one sow and one dry hog. I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Giles Sessums, the Mill Part and the mill exceptin the use of all of the family to grain Toll free by keeping it up, one bed and furniture, one cow or heifer, four heads of sheep, one sow, one dry hog and five dollars in teh name of a gun. I give and bequeath unto my son Miles Sessum the upper part of the plantation and one bed and furniture, one cow or heifer, and four head of sheep, one sow and one dry hog, one musket gun. Two hundred acres of land being on the head of the Juniper branch to be divided between three of -----, timber excepted to be sold and put to the use of the family. One hundred acres of land in Hines Island to be sold and put to the use of the family. Fifty acres of land joining Joseph Parker's line to be sold and put to the use of the family. And I hereby make and ordain my worthy friends Nicholas Sessums and Grey Sessums and John Sessums Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
