I THOMAS VANN of the County of Sampson and state of North Carolina being of Sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of earthly existence do make and declare this my Last Will and Testament in manner and from following that is to Say Item- I give and devise to my beloved wife JUDITH VANN all my Real and Personal Estate that I may die Seized of possessed of during the term of her natural life and after her decease my will is that it be divided in the following manner: VIZ Item-I give and device to my three sons HENRY, DANIEL, and THOMAS all my land lying on the East Side of the Six Runs to have and to hold to them and their heirs in fee simple forever. Item- To my son OWEN I give and devise all my land lying on the west side of the Six Runs where he now lives to have and to hold to him and his heirs in fee Simple forever. Item- I give and bequeath to my four Daughters CHARITY, NANCY, ELIZABETH, and MARGARET the use of my house where I now live and as much claired Land as will be sufficient to Support them as Long as they Remain Single if they choose to live there on Item- I give and bequeath to my three Daughters NANCY, ELIZABETH, and MARGARET my stock of cattle Item- I give and bequeath to my four Daughters Charity, NANCY, ELIZABETH, and MARGARET all my household and Kitchen furniture Item- I give and bequeath to CHARITY, NANCY, an MARGARET and THOMAS all my stock of hogs and sheep Item- I give and bequeath to my son THOMAS my sorrel filly of three years old Item- I give and bequeath to my sons DANIEL and THOMAS one yoke of oxen and cart all my working tools and farming utensils Item- I give and bequeath to my daughter PRISCILLA PETERSON wife of ALLEN PETERSON the sum of then Dollars to be paid by my executors at the death of my wife, Item- I give and bequeath to my Daughters SUSAN PETERSON wife of TIMOTHY PETERSON the sum of Ten Dollars to be paid by my executor at the death of my wife Item- I give and bequeath to my Daughter LUCRECIA MORE wife of ALFRED MORE the Sum of ten Dollars to be paid by my executor at the death of my wife Item- the Raft of timber now on hand and all such Dets as is due me I leave to my executor for the purpose of paying my just debts and funeral expenses Item- the Remainder of my property that is not already disposed of I leave to be equally divided between my Daughters CHARITY, NANCY, ELIZABETH and MARGARET and my son THOMAS. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my worthy son DANIEL VANN my Lawful executors to all intent and purposes to execute this my Last will and Testament according to the true intent and meaning of the Same and every part and clause there of herby Revoking and Declaring utterly void all other wills and Testaments by me here to fore made In Witness where of I the Said THOMAS VANN do hereunto Set my hand and seal.
