E. Thompson Recorded by Juanita Morris – July 1968 and Melanie Wright-Ladd – May 9, 2000 This is a complete listing of this cemetery. Beginning in the southeast corner, next to the woods, I worked Row 1 north toward Dennis Road, Row 2 south toward the pasture, etc. After completing my survey, I learned that Mrs. Juanita Morris of New London had surveyed this cemetery in 1968. I obtained a copy of her records from The Heritage Room, Stanly County Public Library, Albemarle, NC and permission from Mrs. Morris to combine our records. This was a very big help and much appreciated, since several of the old markers are no longer clearly legible.
