Bertha McLester
Bertha Ina Taylor McLester, 94, 
of 20552 Hatley Road, Oakboro,
died Sunday, Nov.14, 1999, at 12
p.m. in Stanly Memorial Hospital.
Her funeral was Tuesday at 11
a.m. in Hartsell Funeral Home's
Lefler Memorial Chapel. The Rev.
Aaron Brooks officiated and burial
was in Smiths Grove Primitive
Baptist Church Cemetery, Oakboro.
Born June, 25, 1905, in Stanly
County, she was the daughter of
the late Jesse Allen And Amanda
Crisco Taylor and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Barbee's Grove
Baptist Church.
She was married to the late Dan
McLester.
She is survived by a number of
nieces and nephews.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle
was in charge.
