Death of Well Known Misenheimer Man Friday Night D.H. Cody, well known and highly esteemed citizen of Misenheimer died Friday night at 9 o’clock, the immediate cause of his death being pneumonia. Deceased was 78 years of age and is survived by the widow and nine children. The children are Messrs. A.A. Cody, Lenoir; P.M. Cody, Millingport; Elbert Cody, Raleigh; W.A. Cody, Richfield, and Eunice Cody, Lexington; Mesdames A. H. Correll, Lenoir; L.C. Lowder, Albemarle, C.H. Misenheimer, Richfield and D.W. Frick, Granite Quarry. Mr. Cody was a life long member of the Lutheran church and the interment will be at Bethel church at Misenheimer Springs, the funeral to take place at 2 o’clock in the afternoon today. The deceased was well known throughout the western section of Rowan and eastern Stanly County. He was a good man and a faithful citizen.
