Lowder Obit March 14, 1984 Page 6-B Deaths Miss Ethel Lowder Albemarle - Miss Ethel Mae Lowder, 84, of Route 3, died Tuesday at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday at Salem United Methodist Church where she was a member. Rev. Tim Porter and Rev. Fred Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. today. Born Dec. 30, 1899, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Roland Dathie Lowder and Mrs. Rebecca Bowers Lowder. Survivors include her stepmother, Mrs. Agnes Drye Lowder of Denton; a brother, David P. Lowder of Albemarle; a sister, Mrs. Rachel Lowder Russell of the home.
