Lowder Obit May 21, 1973 Deaths and Funerals JG. Lowder Stanfield - Jimmy Green Lowder, 85, died today at the home of a son, M. Glenn Lowder of Rt. 1. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at Mission Baptist Church of which he was a member. The body will remain at Hartsell’s Funeral Home, Albemarle, until placed in the church at the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. today. Mr. Lowder was a native of Stanly County, the son of the late Coburn C. Lowder and Mrs. Margaret Hatley Lowder. His wife was the late Mrs. Mary Hatley Lowder. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are two sons, M. Glenn Lowder of Rt. 1 and Floyd C. Lowder of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Mrs. Clegg Dry of Kannapolis and Mrs. Howard S. Goodman of Concord; one half-brother, C.F. Lowder of Concord.
