REV. FLAKE MASON, REV. FRED HOPKINS, and REV. JESSIE DENNIS officiated and interment was in the church cemetery. MR. THOMPSON died at 10:47 a.m. Thrusday in Rowan Memorial Hospital in Salisbury. born January 22, 1910, in Albemarle, he was the son of the late HENRY THOMPSON and the late INEZ SNUGGS THOMPSON SMITH. He was a member of porter Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World. Survivingare his wife, ETHAL MAE DENNIS THOMPSON; a son, ROBERT D. THOMPSON of Route 2, Oakboro; two daughters, MRS. ANNIE LEE CURLEE of Route 2, Norwood, and MRS. DORIS CURLEE of Route 2, Albemarle; three half brothers, ROY SMITH of Palestine, CARL SMITH of Randleman and HARVEY SMITH of Albemarle; four half sisters, MRS. AGNES BLAKE of Perkin, MRS. ESTER HUNSUCKER of Norwood, MRS. RUBY BURRIS and MISS VELMA SMITH both of Albemarle;eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were MARK THOMPSON, STACY THOMPSON, RICKY CURLEE, JU.V.
