County:
Richard Harris having applied to me for a License for the marriage of H.A. Cranford of Anson 
County, Wadesboro Township, aged 65 years, color white, the son of Duncan Cranford and Mary 
Cranford, the father dead, the mother dead, resident of Wadesboro Township
And Sarah E. Lanier of Center Township, aged 44 years, color white, daughter of R.M. Lanier 
and Margaret Lanier, the father living, the mother living, resident of Stanly County, Center 
Township.

State of North Carolina, Stanly County.
I, W. H. Bobbitt, a Minister united in Matrimony HA. Cranford and S.E. Lanier, the parties 
licensed above, on the 22 day of October 1879 at R.M. Lanier in Center Township in said 
County, according to law.
