R. Huneycutt of Albemarle, N.C., age 21 years, color white, the son of Wm. Huneycutt and Jane Huneycutt, the father now dead, the mother living, resident of Albemarle, N.C. And Eliza Jane Gathings of Albemarle, N.C., aged 21 years, color white, daughter of J.T. Gathings and Sarah Gathings, the father dead, the mother living, resident of Albemarle, N.C. Register of Deeds: J.M. Boyett Duncan Burris being duly sworn, says: That the partied applying for License are of lawful age (i.e., each are over 18 years of age) and, so far as he is informed and believes, there is not lawful cause or impediment forbidding said marriage.
