Received, NewBern, North Carolina, May 30th, 1785, of Ebenezer Jackson, Asst. 
Com'r Army Accts., one final settlement certificate signed by John Pierce, 
Esquire, dated 1st February last, and numbered 89,394 on Interest from the 
first of January, 1783, amounting to one hundred and six 60-90 Dollars, it 
being in full the balance of pay due Arthur Cotgroves, Lieut., for services in 
the year 1782, which certificate I do hereby promise to deliver to the Lawful 
Heirs of the said Arthur Cotgroves, deceased.

106 60-90 Dollars.
