Com'r Army Accts., nine final settlement certificates, signed by John Pierce, Esquire, Commissioner, and dated 1st February last, and numbered from 89,404 to 89,411 inclusive; also No. 89,412, amounting in the whole to nine thousand five hundred and forty-five 86-90 Dollars; No. 89,404 on interest from 1st January, 1783, the other numbers are on interest from the 15th November, 1783, it being the balance due in full of the pay due Brig. Genl. Jethro Sumner for the year 1782 & 1783, also his commutation of five years full pay in lieu of half pay for life, pursuant to a Resolve of Congress of March 22, 1783; all which certificates I do hereby promise to deliver to the persons legally appointed to administer upon the Estate of the deceased so that the Lawful Heirs of Genl.
