I, P. 8 HARRIS GIBSON FLETCHER Harrid Gibson Fletcher, 59, of 549 Laurel St., Franklin, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, April 10, at Raiford Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack early in the morning. Mr. Fletcher for the last five years has served Franklin as agent of the Railway Express Company. A member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church, he was the husband of Mrs. Moonnie Gordan Fletcher and the son of the late Thaddeus J. and Carolyne Smith Fletcher of North Carolina. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Harris Gibson Fletcher, Jr., of Pawleys Island, S.C., and Jerry Gordon Fletcher of Georgetown, S.C.; four grandchildren; a brother, Thaddeus J. Fletcher, Jr., of West End, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Albert Austin of Gastonia, N.C.; Mrs. Fred B. Monroe and Mrs. D.D. Richardson, both of West End, and Mrs. Labron Stubbs of Jackson Springs, N.C., and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the funeral home of W.J.M. Holland and Sons and this (Thursday) afternoon was sent of West End, N.C., where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Presbyterian Church by the pastor, Rev. Haulk. Interment will be in West End Cemetery.
