Oliver, Stillborn Additional Comments: Pinckney Oliver: 1870: Pinckney and 1st wife C. Virginia, plus son R. W. were living in Tyro, Davidson Co., NC where Pinckney was a minister of the gospel. 1880: Pinckney, Louisa his wife, sons Robert and Joseph, plus niece Susan A. Moore were living in the Yadkin township of Stokes Co., NC. Pinckney was listed as a preacher. 1900: Pinckney, Louisa, daughters Mary and Martha, and son Samuel were living in the Yadkin Township (North & West Part), Stokes Co., NC. He and Louisa had been married 23 years; Louisa had given birth to 9 children, 3 of whom were still living. Pinckney listed himself as a farmer. 1910: Living in the Boyles Precinct of Stokes Co., Pinckney was living with his wife listed as Eliza; however, Louisa is still alive and the information re: children and years of marriage fit. They had been married 33 years. “Eliza” stated that she had given birth to 9 children, only 3 of whom were still living. At home with them was son Sammy (20) and daughter Martha (19). He listed himself as being a farmer. 1930: Louisa, widowed, was living with her daughter and son-in-law, Isaac and Mary Gordon. From the graveyard, census, records and death certificates, it appears: Pinckney Oliver: June 19, 1838 – October 29, 1914. 1st wife: C. Virginia: August 20, 1845 – Jan 10, 1876 1st child: (with 1st wife) J. W., born October ?, 186? 2nd wife: Louisa J Anderson.: Oct 26, 1855 – Nov 5, 1945 (married abt. 1877) 2nd child: Robert S.: December 3, 1877 – February 21, 189? 3rd child: a son, stillborn February 187?, 4th child: Mary Rebecca - September 19, 1882, married J. M. Gordon, died December 25, 1958 (information from death certificate). 5th child: Julia May, born May 26, 1883 and died June 3, 1883. 6th child: a stillborn daughter, April 22, 1884. 7th child: Samuel T., October 1885 or 1890(by census) 8th child: a son, born Feb. 23 and died Feb. 25?,1889? 9th child, Martha Louise, April 17, 1891 married R. L.
