JAMES BOWMAN and his wife, POLLY; and WILLIAM ABBOTT; FRANCIS ABBOTT, ARMISTEAD ABBOTT; THERESA ABBOTT, and JOSEPH ABBOTT (children of DAVIS ABBOT, deceased) Petition for Partition It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that JAMES BOWMAN and his wife, POLLY; and WILLIAM ABBOTT; FRANCIS ABBOTT, ARMISTEAD ABBOTT; THERESA ABBOTT, and JOSEPH ABBOTT (children of DAVIS ABBOT, deceased) are not inhabitants of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro, for the said defendants, to be notified to appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Stokes in the Court House at Germanton, on the 2nd Monday in September, then and there to plead, answer or demur.
