COUNTY                 June   Term, 1846

MARTHA AYRES

         VS. 

ELIZABETH AYRES et al

Petition for Dower

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that one of  the defendants, 
WILLIAM WRIGHT, who intermarried with MARY JANE AYRES,  is  not an  inhabitant 
of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made 
for six successive weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro, for  the said 
defendant, to be notified  to  appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter 
Sessions to be held for the County of Stokes in the Court House at Germanton,  
on the 2nd Monday in September, , then and there to plead, answer or demur. 
Otherwise, judgment final  will be entered against them

Witness, JOHN HILL , Clerk of said Court, at office in Germanton, on the 2nd  
Monday in June  A.D., 1846.
