Stokes County, NC – Absolom Bostick - Act to Validate, 1827 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ An Act to render valid certain acts of the acting Coroner of Stokes county Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That all such acts done by Absolom Bostick, of Stokes county, in the capacity for coroner for said ounty, up to this time, which the law authorises coroners, legally appointed, and who have given bond to do and perform, are hereby declared to be legal and valid, as fully to all intents and purposes as if he had regularly given bond and security according to law; any law, usage or custom to the contrary notwithstanding.
