STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   COURT OF EQUITY   STOKES  COUNTY
December   Term, 1844

THOMAS H. BOYLES

         VS. 

WILLIAM A. LASH, and JOHN BANNER, Administrators of WILLIAM BOYLES, deceased; 
RICHARD CHEATHAM and ED. M. REYNOLDS

Bill of Injunction and to set aside conveyances, etc. 

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, , RICHARD 
CHEATHAM and ED. M. REYNOLDS,are not inhabitants of this State: It is 
therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro, for  the said defendants, to be 
notified  to  appear at our next Court `to be held for the County of Stokes in 
the Court House at Germanton,  on the 4th  Monday in March next, then and 
there to plead, answer or demur. Otherwise, the petition will be taken pro 
confesso and heard ex parte.
Witness, F. FRIES, Clerk and Master, at office, on Dec. 16th, A. D., 1844.
