and his wife, CATHERINE, ELI ROBERTS and his wife, SALLY, NELSON THOMAS and 
his wife, BETSEY,  and BENJAMIN COLLER and REUBEN D. GOLDING, Guardian 
Pendente Lite for ALLEN COLLER, MAHALA COLLER, CHARLOTTE COLLER, ALEXANDER 
BOYLES and his wife, NANCY; NOAH FULK and his wife, BETSEY, ADAM FALK and his 
wife, PAULINE; and JOHN H. BITTING, Guardian for MARTIN COLLER, JOSIAH T. 
COLLER, JOHN W. COLLER, AUGUSTINE COLLER, DELITHA A. COLLER, RICHARD COLLER 
AND WILLIAM W. COLLER.

Petition for Sale of Land

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, JOHN 
LANGLEY and his wife, POLLY; ELI ROBERTS and his wife, SALLY, and JACOB 
COLLER, are not inhabitants of this state: it is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro, for the said defendants be and appear at our next Court 
of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Stokes in the Court 
House at Germanton, on the 2nd Monday in December next, then and there to 
plead, answer or demur. Otherwise, the petition will be taken pro confesso and 
heard ex parte as to him.

the 2nd Monday in September, A.D., 1840.
