C. greeting this is to inform Excellenty that on Saterday Evening the 21 of June 1845 there was an outragious murder commited on the Body Jesse A. Ferrell By Hulen Sisk who Stabes Said Ferrell in the Side an he died in a half an hour they were in a dispute in the harvest feild of Nancy Cox abut Six miles north of the Quaker Gap in Stokes County, N. C. four white men were present at the time Col. M. R. More, Esqr Issued a warrent to take Sisk But he has not been yet Sisk is about 25 years old five feet between three or six inches high well propotion for that higth hair rather Black after the first glance at your face looks gander he was Seen on Monday near the place which was near where he lived he has Some Relations near the lead mines in V. A. on the New River. the murdered man has left a wife with Eight Chrildren who looked to him for there Support Yours with all Regard am Respectfully a Brother of the deceised this 26 day of June 1845.
