Term, 1844 MARTIN GORDON VS. JAMES GORDON, administrator, and others Vs. Petition for Distribution It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, JAMES KING and his wife, BRAZILLA, JOHN S. GORDON, MORDACAI PHILLIPS and his wife, JANE, and THOMAS GUYMAN and his wife, SARAH, are not inhabitants of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro, for the said defendants, to be notified to appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Stokes in the Court House at Germanton, on the 2nd Monday in December, then and there to plead, answer or demur.
