HENRY HART, JOHN GREENWOOD and POLLY, his wife; THOMAS GREENWOOD and TABITHA 
GREENWOOD, his wife, et al 

        Vs.

Creditors of said Estate and Others

Petition for sale of lands of JOHN HART, SR., deceased. FLOYD WEBB, claiming 
under TABITHA GREENWOOD, etc. It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court 
that THOMAS  HART, JOHN GREENWOOD and POLLY, his wife; THOMAS GREENWOOD, 
husband of TABITHA GREENWOOD, do not reside within the limits of this state: 
it is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six 
successive weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro, for the said 
defendants be and appear at our next Court of Equity to be held for the County 
of Stokes in the Court House at Germanton, on the 3rd Monday after the  4th  
Monday in March next then and there to plead, answer or demur. Otherwise, the 
petition will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to them.
