COUNTY                 Dec.  Term, 1845

NOAH MARSHALL 

Original Attachment Levied on Land and Slaves 

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, NOAH 
MARSHALL , is not an inhabitant of this State: It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro, for  the said defendant, to be notified  to  appear at 
our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Stokes 
in the Court House at Germanton,  on the 2ndMonday in March , then and there 
to plead, answer or demur. Otherwise, judgment final  will be entered against 
him and the property levied on, condemned to satisfy the Plaintiff’s debt.

Witness, JOHN HILL , Clerk of said Court, at office in Germanton, on the 2nd  
Monday in December  A.D., 1845.
