Attachment

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, A. S. DUVALL,
is not an inhabitant of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, printed in 
Greensboro, for  the said defendant, to be notified  to  appear at our next 
Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Stokes in the 
Court House at Germanton,  on the 3rd  Monday in August, then and there to 
plead, answer or demur. Otherwise, the petition will be taken pro confesso and 
heard ex parte.
Witness, JOHN M. LOGAN, Clerk of said Court, at office in Germanton, on the 
3rd Monday in May, A.D., 1844.
