Petition for Divorce and Alimony

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court the defendant, JOSHUA MYERS ,  
is not an  inhabitant of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, printed in 
Greensboro, for  the said defendants, to be notified  to  appear at our next 
Court `to be held for the County of Stokes in the Court House at Germanton,  
on the 2nd  Monday after the 4th  Monday in March next, then and there to 
plead, answer or demur. Otherwise, the petition will be taken pro confesso and 
heard ex parte.
Witness, ISAAC GOLDING, Clerk of said Court, at office, on the 2nd Monday 
after the 4th Monday of September, 1845.
