         VS. 

JOSEPH BONNER, JOSEPH V. GRIGG and MARY, his wife; MILTON BRIGGS, JOSEPH 
BRIGGS, CHARLES W. PEEPLES, SETH N. PEEPLES and others

Original Bill

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, JOSEPH 
BONNER, JOSEPH V. GRIGG and MARY, his wife; MILTON BRIGGS, JOSEPH BRIGGS, 
CHARLES W. PEEPLES, SETH N. PEEPLES ,  are not inhabitants of this State: It 
is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro, for  the said defendants, to be 
notified  to  appear at our next Court `to be held for the County of Stokes in 
the Court House at Germanton,  on the 2nd Monday after the 4th  Monday in 
September, then and there to plead, answer or demur. Otherwise, the petition 
will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte.
Witness, F. FRIES, Clerk and Master, at office, on the 2nd Monday after the 
4th Monday in April, 1844.
