Witness that the aid Harden Beazly for and in consideration of the sum of Nine hundred dollars to him in hand paid, have granted bargained and sold to the said David Anderson two hundred and three acres of land be the same more or less lying in the county of Stokes and State of North Carolina on both sides of the Big Creek of Dan River and bounded as follows that is to say. Beginning as a chestnut marked at in Jacob Cassons line then runing South seventy degrees west sixty three poles crossing said brush to a rock then North eighty seven degrees west forty four poles to a tall oak then South twenty nine degrees then West one hundred and fifty poles crossing a branch to a chestnut and pointress(?) then East thirty one and a half poles to a double post hole then South ninety three poles to chestnut then East one hundred and forty four poles to a pond oak marked B. then North one degree East a new marked line beween Jacob Cassons and said Anderson crossing the Creek three times two humdred and forty five poles to the Beginning. To have and to hold the said land or parcel of land with the ******* to him the said Anderson him heirs or opp(?) forever and the said Hardin Beazly for him self his heirs ancestors or ***** no comment and grant to and with the same David Anderson , that he and they shall peaceably and quietly house hold use occupy and possess the said tract of land with oppositioness has and clear from the claimer or descends of an other persons whatsoever.
