Frederick Helsebeck 100 acres State of North Carolina to all to whom these presents shall come grating know ye that we for and in consideration of the sum of fifty shillings for every hundred acres hereby granted paid into our Treasury by Frederick Helsebeck have given and granted and do by these presents give and grant unto the said Frederick Helsebeck a tract of land containing 100 acres bying and being in our county of Surry on the north fork parkers creek Beginning at a Post oak and Red oak in his own line running thence West 31 1/2 chains to a Red oak thence North 31 1/2 chains crossing the creek to the Small post oak and pornter thence South crossing the creel tp the Begining as by the falt here unto annexed doth together with all woods waters mines minerals Here ditarnens and appartenances to the said land belonging as appertaing to hold to the Said Frederick Helsebeck his heirs and assigns for Ever yielding and paying no such sum of Money otherwise yearly as our general assembly from time to time may (?)sect provided always that the Said Frederick Helsebeck Shall cause this grant to be Registered in the Register office of our Said County of Surry within twelve months from the Date here of otherwise the sum shall be void and of no effect in testimony where of we have caused our great seal to be here unto affixed witness Richard Caswell Esq our governor captain general and commander in chief at Kingston the 20 day of September in the third year of our Inde pendence and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy nine Recorded in the Secretaries ofice William Sheppard Dep Seosetancy
