Helsabeck and J. A. Helsabeck State of North Carolina, Stokes County This deed made this the 12 day of January 1892 by A. J. Helsabeck of H. E. Helsabeck his wife - County, and State of North Carolina of the first part, to John A. Helsabeck of Stokes County and State of North Carolina of the second part, Witnesseth: That said party of the first part in con- sideration of Two Hundred - sixty six and < 266 00/ > Dollars, to them paid by the party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey to said John A. Helsabeck and to his heirs and assign a certain tract or parcel of land in Yadkin Town- ship; Stokes County, State of North Carolina adjoining the lands of Lucain Moore, James Creson also Lots ua: 1 and 3 of my tract of land as partitioned, or divided and others, bounded as follows uiz: Beginning: at pointers in Tuttles line - corner of Lot ua. 1 and runs with the dividing line N. 89 degrees W. 33 1/2 chains to a small branch; Thence up the branch as it weanders 10 chains, Thence N. 1 degree E. 9 1/2 chains to painters in Moore's line; Thence with that line S. 89 degrees E. 4 chains to a rock & painters where and branches fork 3 1/2 Chains to a Red Oak, Thence S. 89 degrees E. 25 chains to a Spanish Oak, Thence S. 1 degree W. 22 1/2 chains to the beginning; containing 65 1/2 acres be the same more or less: This being lot ua. 2 of said tract of land as divided by me between my three sons. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel Land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to the said John A. Helsabeck & his heirs and assigns to his only use and whoof forever and the said party of the first do cooarant to and with the said party of the second part & his heirs and assigns that they are seized of said premaises in fee, and have right to convey the same in fee-simple that the same are free from all incumbrances and that -will warrant and depend the said title to the said, against the claims of all presave whatsoever. Helsabeck his wife, personaly appeared before me this day and acknowledged the due execution of the annexed deed of conveyance; and the said H. E. Helsabeck being by me privately examined, separate and apart from her said husband touching her voluntary execution of the same; doth state that she signed same freely and voluntarily, without fear or compulsion of her said husband, or of any other person and that she doth still voluntarily assert thereto witness my hand and private seal This the 12 day of Jan. 1892.
