Joseph Jessop Senr. of the County of Stokes and State of North Carolina to 
Joseph Jessop Junr. of same - that for and in consideration of the natural love 
and affection that he bears to his son - hath given, granted and confirmed to 
the said Joseph Jessop Junr. three tract, pieces, or parcels of land lying and 
being in the county aforesaid, on Pinch Gut, or North fork of the bigg Creek 
containing 150 acres... beginning at a hickory Martin's Corner then East one 
hundred and fifty poles with Martins line...to the beginning.  

A second tract containing 91 acres being part of a survey made for John Martin, 
beginning at a horn Seam on the north bank of pinch Gut on the Bigg Creek of 
Dan River.

A third tract being part of two surveys, one of 400 acres made for Adam Tate 
and the other of 300 acres made for the said Joseph Jessop Sen'r ...bordering 
Martin's corner ... containing 152 acres.
