MOORE of Severe County & JAMES MOORE of Blunt County & state of Tenesse of the one part and WILLIAM McKIMSEY of Stokes County & State of North Carolina affsd. of the other Witnesseth that for & in consideration or the sum of one hundred & twenty pounds current money of the State of North Carolina to them the sd. ROBERT MOORE and JAMES MOORE by the sd. WM. McKIMSEY paid before the execution hereof the receipt whereof the sd. ROBERT MOORE & JAMES MOORE hath hereby acknowledged themselves and thereof exonerate & acquite the sd. WM. McKIMSEY his heirs extrs. and admrs. and they the said ROBERT MOORE & JAMES MOORE by these presents doth grant bargain & sell assign enfoeff release & confirm & sete over unto the said WM. McKIMSEY his heirs & assigns for ever one certain peace or parcel of land situate lying & being in the county of Guilford being on the East fork of Belue's Creek & Harveys Branch it being the plantation that the late JOHN MOORE, Dec.d lived on and bounded as followes (to wit) Beginning on Harvey's Branch in the Page 537 said MOORE's line at a Black oak corner tree thence south along a dividing line made by both parties &? agreed upon to JAMES KNOTTs line to a stake a corner thence south along his line to his corner white oak in PHILIP JEANE's line near his corner on HENRY COOKs line thence along said COOKs line north to the said MOOREs corner Black oak thence east along JOHN COOKs & sd. MOOREs line to a corner white oak thence the same corner to the beginning containing one hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less together with the improvements thereon reversions rents issues? & profits & also all the Rights Title interest property claim & demand whatsoever of in & to the sd. tracte peace or parcel of land & premises & evey part & parcel thereof with the appurtenances thereunto belonging or appertaining to have & to hold unto the sd. WM. McKIMSEY his heirs & assigns for ever to his & their proper & behoof for ever and the said ROBERT MOORE & JAMES MOORE doth and agree they will for themselves their heirs & every of them doth warrant & for ever defend the above bargained premises unto the sd. WM. McKIMSEY his heirs & assigns for ever against them the said ROBERT MOORE and JAMES MOORE & their heirs & all & every other person or persons by them or under them or any of them in Witness whereof the sd.
