Jacob ROBINSON, Littleberry ROBINSON and Edward ROBINSON/ARNETTS, et. al. - deed transcription by Jan Lawson. State of N. Carolina, Stokes County. Whereas Andrew ARNETT late of said County died Intestate and was at the time of his death possessed of a tract of Land containing two hundred and seventy acres lying in said County on Blues Creek, said Andrew ARNETT left seven sons, Viz., John ARNETT, Thomas ARNETT, Leven ARNETT, James ARNETT, Daniel ARNETT, Andrew ARNETT and Peter ARNETT, who are joint and sole heirs to the real estate of the said Andrew ARNETT, deceased. Therefore, be it known unto all men whom it may concern, that we the said John ARNETT, Thomas ARNETT, Leven ARNETT & James ARNETT, sons and heirs of Andrew ARNETT, deceased, being desirous to sell our parts, shares or quotas of said estate to Edward ROBINSON and Littlebury ROBINSON minors and sons of Jacob ROBINSON of the said County & State and that the said Jacob ROBINSON having made us full and ample satisfaction for said land and we do fully acknowledge ourselves to be contented with the same. In consideration of the said payment, we the said John ARNETT, Thomas ARNETT, Leven ARNETT & James ARNETT have Constituted made & appointed and by these presents do Constitute make and appoint the said Jacob ROBINSON our true & lawful attorney for us, and in our name and stead, and in our behalf, To make and execute a good sufficient Deed or Deeds in fee simple for the conveyance of our shares, parts & quotas of said Lands, which Deed or Deeds we do hereby confirm & acknowledge to be as good & valid in Law, as if the same had been actually done and performed by us in our persons and signed with our own hands.
