To all to whom these presents shall come, Greetings. Know ye that We for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Shillings for every hundred acres hereby Granted paid into our Treasury by Jacob ROBINSON, have Given and Granted and by these presents do Give and Grant unto the said Jacob ROBINSON a tract of land Containing fifty acres, lying & being in the County of Stokes, on the Waters of Muddy Creek. Beginning by Benjamin JONES' and sold to the said JACOB ROBINSON bounded as follows. Beginning at a White Oak, an Old Corner, Running South on THOMASON's line one hundred & fourteen poles to a black oak, East sixty nine poles to a stake, North one hundred and twenty four poles to a stake, thence a straight course to the beginning. January 21st 1792 is the date of the Entry as by the plat hereunto affixed doth appear together with all Woods, Waters, Mines, Minerals, hereditaments & appurtenances to the said Land belonging or appertaining. To hold to the said Jacob ROBINSON his heirs & assigns forever, yielding and paying to us such sums of Money yearly or otherwise as our General Assembly from time to time may decide. Provided always that the said Grantee shall cause this Grant to be Registered in the Registers Office of our said County of Stokes within twelve months from the date hereof. Otherwise the same shall be Void and of no Effect. In Testimony whereof we have Granted these our Letters to be made patent, and our Great Seal to be hereunto affixed. Witnesseth, B. WILLIAMS, Esq., our Governor Captain General and Commander in Chief at Raleigh the 10th day of Dec. in the 25th year of our Independence and in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred. Beginning at a black oak near a Road his South West Corner of a Fifty acre survey, and Runs South on THOMASON's line ten chains to a black oak HALEY's former corner, thence North eighty degrees East on said line thirty three chains crossing the Meadow branch to a post oak, thence West on HARROLD's line and said ROBINSON's line to the beginning. Entered the 15th day of January 1803, as by the plat hereunto Annexed doth appear together with woods, waters, mines, minerals. Hereditaments and appurtenances to the said land belonging or appertaining.
